The Briars by Sarah Crouch My rating: 5 of 5 stars I loved this book from the first page. I loved Annie Heston. She's such an unusual character and I love that she's so unique and strong and knowledgeable. I loved the romance and the suspense. I loved all the characters in this town and how the setting was almost a character of its own, coming alive. The First Time I Saw Him by Laura Dave My rating: 5 of 5 stars I loved "The Last Thing He Told Me" and I wasn't sure if the sequel would deliver. To be honest, I wasn't even sure if I wanted a sequel. But I love Laura Dave, so I was excited to dive into it and she did not disappoint! This book is fantastic to read from the first page and it hits the ground running and does not stop. I loved the way the characters grew over the time we didn't see them and I loved reading this book. Especially if you loved the first one and wanted to see how they turn out!
