This story was hard to follow for quite a bit of the beginning but eventually I couldn't stop reading because I wanted to know what happened to Maali and what the photos were about. As the story slowly unravels, we learn so much about Sri Lanka's political situation and get to know these amazing and interesting characters. This book has some of the best one-liners I've read anywhere. It's visual, rich and an experience unlike anything. But it also requires patience and endurance to be willing to stick with it.

Until he gets a call that she woke up in the park and is now at the hospital and can't remember the last day. The story goes back and forth between Jane's diary entries and the therapist. And the more we find out, the more confused we get. It becomes hard to understand what's real and what's not. And you have to be willing to suspend your disbelief and just go with it. Review: Finding Grace

Finding Grace by Loretta Rothschild My rating: 4 of 5 stars I read A LOT of books so it's really really rare for me to find a book with a premise I have never seen before. And this one took the cake. By the end of the first chapter, you're like WHOA did not see that coming. And then you're spending a bunch of the rest of this book reorienting. I know people will have mixed feelings but I loved it. I liked the twist and then the turn the story took. I liked how the author played with the way stories are told. I liked how the characters grew and surprised you both with their stupidity and humanness. I think this one will be controversial, people will love or hate. I am of the former camp.
