Review: The Shippers

you can always always always count on Katherine Center to give us a story that makes us laugh and makes our heart full. This story was no exception. I thought the dialogue was even funnier than usual. Even though it also felt like the main character took a bit longer to get with the program that she should.

But it's impossible to read a Center book and not smile your way through it. It's impossible to not have her books heal you a little (or a lot) bit!

Review: Finding Grace

Finding Grace by Loretta Rothschild My rating: 4 of 5 stars I read A LOT of books so it's really really rare for me to find a book with a premise I have never seen before. And this one took the cake. By the end of the first chapter, you're like WHOA did not see that coming. And then you're spending a bunch of the rest of this book reorienting. I know people will have mixed feelings but I loved it. I liked the twist and then the turn the story took. I liked how the author played with the way stories are told. I liked how the characters grew and surprised you both with their stupidity and humanness. I think this one will be controversial, people will love or hate. I am of the former camp. Review: The 22 Murders of Madison May

The 22 Murders of Madison May by Max Barry My rating: 4 of 5 stars I love Max Barry. I've loved reading his books since Jennifer Government and Lexicon and I think it will be hard for me not to enjoy a book by him because I really like his writing style and his clever mind. This book was no exception. I have read many books that contain the multiverse theory over the last few years so the parallel universes part of the book wasn't novel to me. But the idea of a serial killer going through each universe and hunting down the same girl was definitely an interesting twist. This is a fast-paced novel as all of Barry's other ones.
